The organisers have an honour to invite you to take part in the international scientific conference of the famous SPACE European Network For Business Studies and Languages. The conference will take place from 27 to 30 April 2011 at Lessius University College Mechelen, Belgium.

The topic of the conference is ‘Learning by sharing: Strengthen the links between higher education, applied research, and practice’.

SPACE is one of the leading and most fast-moving European educational associations, which inspires academics to effective cooperation for gaining common goals of the whole European educational community.

One of the principal tasks of SPACE is providing the students of member higher educational establishments with quality and effective business education, as well as assisting higher educational establishments in development of their research potential and attracting interested investors.

The Association sees its particular mission in organising common examinations for obtaining Bachelor degree in ‘Business Studies’, ‘Languages’ and ‘Hotel and Tourism Management’ with European diploma, and in developing on-line courses on European cross-cultural studies.

The annual SPACE conference is a prestigious scientific forum, during which the scientists and researchers from European universities present their scientific projects and share experience of effective pedagogical practice in a number of fields, connected with innovations and applied studies in educational sphere.

Owing to the fact, that SPACE presents 90 partners from 28 countries of European Union together with many partners beyond EU, the conference is an ideal platform for a choice of academic partners and development of mutual projects.

Within the framework of the visit, you will be given an opportunity to meet the leaders of higher education from various countries, share experience, and conclude agreements of cooperation between SPACE and its European partners.
